1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using VA Disability Center (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
VA Disability Center provides a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that offers organizational tools for veterans navigating the VA disability claims process. Our services include a secure document vault, a claims/appeals building wizard, educational content, and optional attorney network referrals.
3. No Legal Advice; No Attorney-Client Relationship
VA Disability Center is not a law firm. The information, tools, and content provided on this Platform are for general informational and organizational purposes only and do not constitute legal advice. Use of our SaaS tools, wizards, and educational content does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and VA Disability Center or any of its employees, contractors, or affiliates.
If you choose to connect with an attorney through our referral network, any attorney-client relationship will be established directly between you and that attorney through a separate engagement agreement. VA Disability Center is not a party to that relationship.
4. Not Affiliated with the VA
VA Disability Center is an independent technology company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs or any government agency.
5. User Accounts and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized access to your account.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; (b) upload malicious files or content; (c) attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ data; (d) reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Platform; (e) use the Platform to store content unrelated to VA disability claims.
7. Subscription and Payment
The Platform offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are provided in accordance with applicable law.
8. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VA Disability Center shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Platform in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
