About VA Disability Center
Empowering veterans with the tools and knowledge to navigate the VA disability system with confidence.
Our Mission
VA Disability Center exists for one reason: to make the VA disability claims process less overwhelming for veterans. The system is complex, the paperwork is daunting, and too many veterans give up or settle for ratings that don’t reflect the true impact of their service-connected conditions.
We believe every veteran deserves access to professional-grade organizational tools regardless of their budget. That’s why our core tools — the Document Vault and Appeals Wizard — are available for free.
What We Do
Organize
Our encrypted Document Vault lets you securely store, tag, and organize all your medical records, service records, nexus letters, and buddy statements in one place.
Guide
Our step-by-step Appeals Wizard walks you through building your supplemental claim or appeal in plain English. No legal jargon, no guesswork.
Educate
Our comprehensive guides cover everything from disability ratings to PTSD claims to TDIU, written in clear language veterans can actually use.
Connect
When you need expert help, our attorney network connects you with accredited VA disability attorneys who work on contingency — no upfront legal fees.
Our Values
- Veteran-First: Every decision we make starts with “how does this help veterans?”
- Transparency: We are upfront about what our tools do and don’t do. We clearly state that using our SaaS tools does not create an attorney-client relationship.
- Security: Veterans’ medical and service records are sensitive. We use AES-256 encryption, secure deletion, and maintain a complete audit trail. Read our Privacy Policy.
- Accessibility: Core tools are free forever. We never paywall the basic functionality veterans need to organize their claims.
- Accuracy: Our educational content is researched, cited, and regularly updated to reflect current VA regulations and procedures.
What We Are Not
It’s important to be clear about what VA Disability Center is not:
- We are not a law firm and we do not provide legal advice
- We are not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
- Use of our tools does not create an attorney-client relationship
- We are not a substitute for professional legal or medical advice
We are a technology company that builds tools to help veterans organize their information and understand their options. When veterans need legal representation, we connect them with accredited attorneys through our network — a separate relationship governed by its own engagement agreement.
